The First pyramids were built around 2700 B.C. They are built with stone and were called Step Pyramids.
Government
In Ancient Egypt, the Government was controlled by a single man called a King or more widely known as a Pharaoh. They had the most power. Though the government being a Theocracy, there were other men helping the Pharaoh. The Priest's, Tax collectors, Vizier (Prime Minister), Army Commander, Chief Treasurer, and the Minister of Public Works.
Geography/Environment
Like said in the Economy section, Trade was a big part of Ancient Egypt. It created the most revenue, and helped keep the economy stable by providing money to all that bartered and traded.
Current Issue
Ancient Egypt is said to be one of the first places War was present. Illustrations and Archaeological evidence show that near the border of Sudan the possible war took place. There is a site with many skeletons with arrows and spears embedded in the long gone bodies.
Culture
Children were very important to the families in Ancient Egypt. They were the heart of the family and if they couldn't bear a child they adopted. People often think that the Egyptians loved death but that is far from the truth. They loved life. If someone commited a wrong deed they were punished by having them do good deeds.
Economy
Trade was a big part of Ancient Egypt. Being right on the Nile Rivers Delta, it was easy to bring in and deliver goods. Most of the population lived in self sufficient villages, so it was easy to trade.
Health and Disease
From inspecting mummies, skeletal remains and art we have found that there was illness and disease in Ancient Egypt. Some found are Polio, Infection from Scorpion bites, eye diseases from the sandy climate, and tapeworm.
Technology
The Ancient Egyptians are said to have created many things. They made paper from papyrus and all things pottery, which were sold in the trade en route Greece and Rome. Pyramids were built using ramps and levers which were used for the first time by them. Levers were used for other things as well, like fishing.
